Haha I’ve got more questions. I’m in need of a new paddle mines the old kind and its chipped, also the blade is flat and doesn’t have a curve in it? I’m lookin to spend around 50 or less maybe a little more with tax. Id like a longer 1 also because I’m starting to stand up sometimes and I feel mines really short. When I paddle the water runs down the paddle shaft and soaks my legs and arms, is that normal? I don’t need anything super fancy but I’ve used mine long enough and its time to upgrade. Although toobusy if you’ve got any idea where that paddle flew off at ill go huntin for it:wink:. And my kayak seat sucks. It doesn’t have a bottom and the back part is torn up and doesn’t sit up right. Looking around 30ish for one if I can get that. I have been using a boat cushion for bottom part but I need a new back rest. Id love to get one of those seats that sit up above the yak but I don’t think mine will support that unfortunately. Thanks for any leads y’all! Hope ya don’t get to ffffed up with my being cheap questions
Not trying to steal your thread there Yakman but, if someone could recommend a good. light paddle that won’t break teh bank, I would appreciate it. I am currently using an aluminum shaft, inexpensive 230 cm paddle that works fine but would like a lighter one. Thanks
Can put “paddle drip guards” on paddle shaft to help out with the paddle dripping. They are just a piece of rubber about 3" around with a hole for paddle shaft, they “sorta” work. Some folks just put some big rubber bands around the shaft to help with it as well.
Might have a surf to summit seat/backrest in shed, if so more them welcome to it. As far as paddles go only ones I have left are cheap alum shaft ones and a very hi end Seda that I’ve had since I was your age, nobodys gettin that!
