My rod holder is loose and I’ve tried to reglue and seal them with 5200 and marine goop, are there any other better solutions. Also they go through to the hull so water gets in any good idea for plugs.
They do make rod holders that are capped at the end that goes into the hull. As far as sealing leaks, I would first probably try a high grade marine silicon caulk/sealer. Are the rod holders not screwed/riveted in? That and some sealer may solve your problem.
