Has anyone kayaked to the jetties?
People have died at jetties on bass boats, and you want take a kayak? If you want fish jetties go on a boat.
Do not take a kayak to the jetties. Taking a flats boat out there is pushing it. Even on a calm day. There are plenty of good places to fish inshore.

What about 20-60 yards off land by the grillage?
Wouldn’t try it, not worth it!

I wouldn’t go to the Grillage in a kayak. We did several times years ago and learned hard lessons - each time we had someone get in trouble trying to anchor/free up the anchor. Two times someone went for a swim…
