Looking to get a trailer this year. Probably a project(used, old etc) as would like to build storage into it. If anyone has one or see one let me know.
I have a pretty nice one that used to hold my old 14 foot boat, though it has an axle problem and i never really got to fix it. Its at my country house in Ridgeville and might be interested in selling it. Though, I dont know if its too big? Im going out there son so might be able to pull it out of the barn and clean it up if your interested. Let me know.

I have one as well that I plan to convert into a kayak trailer. Not trying to steal your thread but any ideas as to a good/simple design would be cool. How about photos of any that CFers have done?

Here’s my old one (may it rest in peace).
The new one is another converted boat trrailer. I just used 2" box tubing this time instead of pipe for my uprights and spreaders.

good idea guys… my truck bed is rusted out and my buddy (mudroc)has more experience with saltwater on the roof of his truck cab!!
Yes. that’s storage. It’s a rod coffin 8" long, 2 ’ wide, and 8" deep.

I was able to find a used eight foot trailer that someone needed to get rid of. Then found someone do build a rack for the kayaks. I can carry 6 kayaks and 120 qt cooler in addition to plenty of other gear. Used 2 inch tubing and have it so the rack can be removed from the trailer and then I have a trailer to use.

I am looking into a trailer also. My last car was trying to rust itself into a convertible!

I have been good about keeping the rust off the top of my cherokee but have replaced 3 antenas due to rust. But thinking of selling the cherokee and getting a new jeep so another benefit of getting a trailer to keep it off the soft top.
