I am looking for a piece of 2"X3" galvanized tube that is at least 8’ long to extend my Jet Ski now a kayak trailer tongue? I am also up to using a shorter piece and couple them together if this is possible. I know I can order a piece new but I am looking to do this on the cheap. I am also up for suggestions. Thanks.

Have you checked Northern Tool? I think they used to sell trailer parts like tongue extensions and the like…
I’ve you’re ok with bare steel instead of galvanized you won’t beat Charleston Steel and Metal. They sell metal cheap.

Thanks, I will look into that. Any suggestions on painting that so it won’t rust?

You can buy cold galvanizing paint (zinc) in a spray can for about $15. McMaster.com has it
2000 SeaPro 180CC w/ Yammy 115 2 stroke
1966 13’ Boston Whaler w/ Merc 25 4 stroke “Flatty”

Either the Zinc in a can that Optiker mentioned or good old Rustoleum.
