Anyone have a trolling motor for their kayak? I own a tandem Hobie Outfitter, and I’d love to get an electric motor for it. However, the Hobie version is way too expensive at $1500. Any other ideas?
you can convert just about anything if you’re willing to cut the shaft and fab some brackets.

Check out some of the Bass Yak set ups. I think most of them are kayak model specific and come in for less than $800. Whatever you do, make sure you get a SALTWATER motor, you will thank yourself in a year or so!
