I missed half my summer due to a TDY and be back in November wondering what everyone uses for colder weather gear in Charleston. Do you layer with anything specific? Looking at water temps average looks like be getting in low 60s*.
Go see Dave at Time Out…support the local guys when possible!
I personally wear a thin pair of non-insulated breathable waders w/ stocking feet when the water gets chilly. Also do a couple layers of some Under Armour/polyester-type fast drying shirts as needed, with a shell jacket. I peel layers off as I feel the need to - I don’t like sweating. Bring extra set of clothes and towel in a dry bag. Research the 120-degree rule about water and air temps!

Below a 120-degree sum, you have to beware of hypothermia. I will fish year-round, but just have to take extra care not to get soaked, and if I do, to have extra clothes and towels where I can get dry and changed while on the water.
Another thing to think about is re-entry: If you can’t re-enter your kayak from the water, I wouldn’t kayak fish in the wintertime. Cold water can sap your energy quickly…practice re-entries while the weather is still relatively warm.
