Fishing on the Wando Rivers has been fantastic the only problem is trying to catch slot size Red’s.
That’s a good problem to have right? But my Wife wanted some fish for dinner.
So I took drastic measures I consulted my Log Book !!
There it was repeated four years in a row ? date- moon- tide- close to same time, lure used and even location

Excellent post. But… ‘slots’ are just part of the challenge. Had friends that got married. They wanted to throw a party for the family and neighbors, the day after. Told them that, If I got lucky, I’d bring a fish to the ‘block party’. Woke up at the crack azz of dawn and went fishing. Used my Log Book (in my head) and brought back a 27" red. That was the limit that year.
Trying to feed the family on ‘reds’ in 2014 is a tough gig. But, there is a reason.
