I will have to say that Sunny, Laird, and Kelly are some of my favorite (and most respected) watermen of all time but Kelly…Man that guy is just in a league of his own. And he is from the East Coast too!
As a professional engineer, commercial diver, and surfer I can only imagine how unbelievably cool it would be to engineer, design, and build something like that.

As Narcosis said Slater is from East Coast He surfed around Cocoa Beach , Melbourne Beach .I never could see how he won all his titles with all the big waves.
The waves in that area are only 2-3 foot high .
