This weekend I won the Key Largo Open AND the 2008 Tournament Series Grand Champion!!!

Made our way out this past weekend in a rough ocean and cold water but it was worth it. Tons of Gags and Red snapper out there. Goldfinch Took 3rd in the tournament with a healthy score. Kent took 5th in the tournament and 3rd for the series.

We also won several of the big fish trophies. My 1st place hog beat Stephens by 1 ounce! Walked away with thousands in gift certificates, 2 sets of regulators, spearguns, and trophies Not bad for a day of spearfishing. :smiley:

Congrats on your win over the entire South East with 400+ divers including commercial spearfishermen. That’s no small accomplishment! It must be easy!!! :wink:

Heard that Kent had a some technical difficulty and only made 2 dives.

5th place among 400+ divers with only 2 dives is STRONG!!!

Kent, Goldfinch, and you really seem to be on top of the game.

Congrats guys, looks like we have the best divers and fishery on the east coast.

Due to financial constraints the light at then end of the tunnel has been turned off until further notice.

Definitly an achivement to be proud of! Congrats to ya’ll for sure.

Know what it takes to do that kind of stuff but had enough of dealing with Boyles and Daltons laws in my life!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone start a post themnselves about bragging on their winnings. All thats missing in those pictures is about 3 gold chains and a diamond earing.
