Key west 2020 prop

Anyone running a key west 2020 and yamaha carbed 150?

Looking for motor height and prop info.

Currently running a stiletto 14.25x17 at 4900-5000 rpms max at 40mph gps. Second mounting hole from top, full tank with t-top. Cruise is 28mph at 3500rpm.

Seems I’ve heard that the stiletto is heavy cupped and runs like a larger pitch prop. Anyone else experienced this? Boat runs bow high also.

So, anyone with a 150 yamaha 2 stroke and similar boat?

I have a 2020dc. I had to lower my Merc down to the last hole. It was in the second hole from the top but cavitated too much. It bites much better now. I have a 14x19 and run 40.5 on GPS with half fuel three adults and gear. That’s at 5300 rpm’s. I know it’s not the Yamaha but maybe will help. When trimmed up the boat runs high but stays pretty flat. When cruising around 3800-4000 rpm’s it does seem a little bow high.

a stiletto always bites harder than just about any other brand
I had your exact boat with a 150 optimax and it would run 44-45 mph
the 2020 with an f150 will run about 44 light load
run it WOT trimmed up, and look at the cavitation plate, it should be flush with the surface of the water
