I never thought I’d complain about there being no wind but that was almost the case yesterday. It was slick flat calm and hot!
Fishing was pretty good. Got a nice mixed bag several cobia, dolphin, yellowtail snapper, red snapper, blackfins, skipjacks and so on…lost count of the different species.
Highlights were e pack of cobia coming up to the boat with a group of 7 bull sharks and the massive pods of black fins blowing up on bait. We could’ve chased and caught black f’in all day running and gunning down the pods of fish.
Needless to say I’m completely jealous of their fishery here. Short run, blue water with in sigh of land and tons of fish and structure…pretty amazing!
Now if I could just hit the powerball I’d be here a lot more often…ain’t cheap here!
