I am currently in Afghanistan until late spring / early summer. One of my soldiers wants to take a vacation to Key West once we get back - while there he would like to dedicate 1 day to fishing. He needs some info on what charter service would be good to use for he and his wife. I know nothing of the area, so I figured someone here could give some tips - Thanks – Jay
Check in with the Navy down there ( see attached ). The folks at the marina can hook him up with one of several guides that can pick him up at the dock. Be sure to scroll down to the section on the marina. I have stayed there several times and the Navy has always treated Army great! The marina also has CC boat rentals for half and all day at reasonable rates based on rank.
Be sure to read the section about leave dates and reservations. The town houses are early 70’s BOQ and the trailers are very clean.
