Interested in what this boats drafts. Anyone have anyone first hand info?
I know the 15’ doesn’t draft much. The only problem with it is water will sit in it when you have two grown man fishing it. I took one to Sarasota and got only a day of fishing before the motor quit running. We shrimped three people out of one this year it was great, as long as you were willing to be in ankle deep water.
it 11-12"
or more, if a big guy is in the back poling by himself

Not even close. The published draft is 6". Realistically with a heavy guy on the back. 8"

published draft and real world are 2 very different things.
my nephew has a stealth, and I can assure you from first hand experience, that boat will not float in in 6, or even 8 inches

the stealth is not made in a 15ft. It only comes in a 17. As for draft depends on what you have on the boat (jack plate, power pole, etc) The boat drafts 6 as a basic setup( no extra batteries and acces.) and between 8 and 10 depending on how much you add. Fuel tank is in the front of the boat and helps distribute the weight with the batterys in back

This is a 2001 15 model.
pretty sure the stealth is only available as a 17 foot model
keywest makes a 15, but i dont think its a stealth

I thought it was a stealth. But I guess it is just a 1520CC.
Thanks for the draft info. Now for the second question. How does it pole?
yeah I second the water standing in the boat, I have a buddy who has that boat and it holds at least 4 inches of water esp when someone is on the platform… as far as the poling I do not have much exp. with flats boats to compare it to just jons and cc’s but it seemed heavy for a 15’ boat. I did like how wide it was, fished and shrimped great…
I agree with Chris on the draft. My best friend has one and it drafts about 12" with him and myself in it. Don’t care what the website says. I do like the boat alot, however, it is very heavy and poles like a slug. It does not track well either, but for the price it is a great boat! The beam is very wide and it is extremely stable. Kinda slow with a 115 4 stroke.
i have the 152, and it does get water in the back, but i have a fix for that wen it warms up… back to topic: the 1760 stealth(only size made) draws about 9-11" of water with a guy on the platform and bow and gas and gear, depending on motor and size of the guys… definately not a shallow boat, but a stable one…
Key West 152 with a 70 yamaha
10-12" is what mine goes depending on persons and gas but I only paid 6 grand for it instead of 20 something. I learned to pole on that boat and I’m 56 so if I can pole it, anybody can pole it. I’ll gladly give up 3-4" to save 20 grand.

i had a stealth for 2 years i have upgraded to a 183 ghost ranger now the boat with a 115 etec will run at 38 to 40 mph gets decent fuel mileage. 2 people fishing the boat realisticly drafts 8 to 10 inches of water dependent on who is on the platform. by putting my heavier partner on the platform it lifted the v to allow for less draft people can argue that fact if they want but it worked. i fished this boat in many tournaments from panama city fla to morehead nc it is not a technical poling skiff its not the greatest poling boat but it handles a chop well in the harbor and its not that wet of a boat but you will have to deal with a little porpoising while running wich can be handled with the trim tabs. i worked at key west for years give me a call 843-305-0549 ask for patrick
