I see where there is a what looks like a saltwater pond on Kiawah island. Just trying to find out if it’s private or possible to fish for someone not living on the island.
There are several saltwater impoundments on KI. Most are behind the gates, so yes, they are private. Likely most impoundments are “private” since they are surrounded by land, thus you would either need owners permission or the adjacent land is public in order to fish them.
