Anyone exit inshore to access ocean from here?
All the time. Pretty easy entry / exit points. Go near low tide so you can see where they are.

We have been using Stono inlet lately. Slow down and look for breakers. There is a cut on the right near Kiawah and one further left around the big bar. I suggest near low so you can see the breakers. Then follow your track coming back in.

Yes, because as of last week, the channel markers were gone once you get past Bird Key. Go slow, steer clear or the breakers, and you’ll be fine. That channel does shift very frequently though, so pay attention each time you use it. Seen many boats run a-ground and get beat apart there.
