Had my two cousins and uncle down from Birmingham and hoped I could find some fish for them. I talked with captain Bob and promised I would post what we caught on his trout tricks.Fished 3 hours Sat. and 3 hours Sun. the trout were finicky with the slick calm conditions. Ended up with 25-30 reds 16-28 inches, about the same number of trout 14-17 inches, and 1 flounder. Only ended up with a couple of good pictures but seeing my cousins sight fish their best redfish ever with TT was awesome. These fish are 27"and 28". Thanks Bob. All fish were caught in clear water around low tide.
This is the website for trout tricks. A warning if you are going to throw them at reds you need a heavier hook or a very light drag, I straightened 2 hooks on nice reds.
I took a inch off the head of the worm to the start of the slit of the worm, worked best for me, its nothing more than a bass worm straight fin-ness tail, works great nothing but good things to say about it!
