Why would someone make a post like that and not give details?
That’s just cruel.

Why did it take you so long to get your limit?

probably because the lake is only big enough for him and he is afraid that somebody else will catch a fish. i bet he has no
problem feeding off of the info that the most of us share on here. does not really matter anyway. you usually get to reap what you sow.
i apologize. i was a little harsh on this poster. since he is from beaufort maybe he was in one of the lower lakes. or maybe he drove up from beaufort. or maybe he went to clark hill. or maybe even hartwell. we may never know . oh well; steelytom will show me where they are and i will tell the world. lol lol lol!
I dont live in beaufort anymore and have fished with many people on here!! Yes on lake murray. Just fish any of the mid lake points and you will have good luck. There are plenty of fish out there coolbreeze and i have always give out a lot of info! Coolbreze u dont have to be such a jerk!

beaufortjay; lighten up. we are pretty good at messing with people on this striper forum. just kidding with you. read it again. like steelytom says; no need to be a beotch. we give everybody a tough time and i get plenty from them also. besides; i am not a jerk. that is entirely too nice of a compliment for me. thank you anyway. ha ha
as i said; ease up and put up with us or head on out somewhere else.
i am coolbreeze and i approve this message.
Let me tell you we had a blast yesterday morning!!! Big time schooling, 45-55 feet deep, fish anywhere between 30-40 feet, I-pilot is sooooo good to keep you on top of them, fished only A-1, 7:30-10am to get three people limit, most of them 22-26 inches, all real keepers!! Of course a couple of gars also showed that fought like crazy making us thought we had our biggest ones just to show us their ugly faces, LOL. Most of them on down rods and 1-2 jigging spoons. For a few seconds (maybe couple of minutes) we had all of them jumping around us and even when though i tried 3 different water plugs and poppers I had no luck, Earlier in the week (Tuesday 6-7pm) found a nice schooling around V-3 and V-2 on 60 feet, suspended around 30-35, caught two right away, jigging a 1.5 oz, Capt. Mack’s spoon. All in all Great fishing. I have started fishing just on May this year and I am glad to have joined you guys and this board, i have learned so much, you are all open and helpful.
Congratz Jorge… sounds like an awesome morning!

Not that there is anything wrong with this report, everyone has the right to post what they want. But we do try to keep a different atmosphere here than the rest of CF. It seems the bragging posts, and name calling runs rampant throughout the site. Here we try to give out assistance and report any details that we feel could help make anyones day on the water next time that much more fun. It’s a big lake, and lots of fish to go around.
Again, anyone can post what they want. I just feel that the bragging reports, without pics I might add, really don’t do anyone any service but the original poster.
With that said, they were probably 10 Steverinos, and you lost 2 downrigger balls bumping bottom, then lost the whole downrigger because of a failing rail clamp, and proceeded to loose a rod from your t top while running back home across the lake, just to have your battery die and not have any jumper cables.
And yes, I do live in a glass house.

Fished Wednesday late afternoon - evening, concentrated on the area north of the main river channel triangulated on an equal distance from Wessinger, Bomb and Goat Islands. Found fish in small wolf pack groups (3 - 5) hitting what appeared to be shad (3") pushed very close to the surface in small pods and scattered over a half mile square area. Started with a surfacing, jointed 4" Blue Back Herring went to a square billed 3" crank bait and could only achieve tail slaps. Switched to a Lucky Craft, Sammy and right away went to fish in the box. Limited out with 5 fish in the 21 - 26" range in about 30 minutes. Because of the scattered small schooling one had to only set tight and cast from the same location as the momentary surface eruption moved from spot to spot within casting distance of the boat.

That is great Jorge. I have fished through A-1 a couple times while I was cruising with the family and seen a ton of fish. Some busting the surface and a lot bunched up near ledges in 30’-40’. I keep telling myself one morning I need to to leave the family at home and just commit to fishing 2-3 hours in that creek, but work and a new baby hasn’t permitted. Glad you had an awesome trip. The north lake coves seem to be really producing lately.

The above comment was not directed to you Jorge. But pictures are always nice.
It seems as though the sarcasm button is not working on all of our computers. Someone needs to get that thing working so we all know when a joke is flying around.
