Sure seems like things have been kinda quiet on the board here of late. Hope everyone had a great 4th.
The fishing has been a bit slow and I had to work last week so have not been able to fish for about a week.
Several of us from Beaufort made it to the Battle of the Border on Lake Hartwell and had a good time fishing and telling lies. Figure Troy will make one of his more detailed post about it sometime. Also think there is a link on the SCKayakfishing site with a report.
Again hope everyone has a great 4th of July Weekend and caught plenty of fish.
Eagles may soar, but weasels never get sucked into jet air intakes
Quiet everywhere Brother… fishin has been slow for me and work has been in the way a lot… Dangit… I gotta win the lottery soon so I can just fish…

I spent last week in Michigan for work. Went to Paradise today, but no fish to report. Water was warm, bait everywhere, big fat skunk on the yak.
There is nothing - absolutely nothing- half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. Kenneth Grahame
The last couple of weekends has been more in the surf or a motor boat, not much in the yak. As long as the reds are hitting in the surf…looks like thats were I’ll be.

guess that is your way of giving a report… might not be so quiet if people would actually speak up and say what they caught, guess that is your way, friend:)
edit: thanks for the report, James!

Nope not a report…if it was it would be in the surf fishing forum. All I was saying is I’m not in my kayak but fishing elsewhere.
