I’ve heard that trolling inshore/nearshore can produce king mackerel bites. I assume this is somewhat accurate since folly pier has a season when the end of the pier is reserved for king fishing only. I was curious if anyone could offer advice as far as rigs/techniques/time of year if I were to give this a try sometime. I’d primarily be interested in fishing around the jetties/harbor area. This isn’t something I considered in the past, but they seem like they’d be a really fun fight and if its not overly technical, why not give it a shot. Thanks in advance.
