king trollin (pic) 6-4

Beautiful day decided to not go to far out due to 50 cents worth of rain, trolled in about 65-80 ft and caught 9 nice kings and 1 little tuna. King bite was HOT, first ones for the season, cooked some up at “mancave” when we got home (cast iron pot blackened with lemon pepper, olive oil, real lemon/lime slices and couple slices of thick cut bacon. 2minutes @ 500 degrees each side) as good as any dolphin we’ve caught!) fresh macks are good!!!:sunglasses:

Welcome, glad to hear any news on kings,we fished some live bottom last Wed.,but a weather change ran us back in,so no kings. Were ya’ll trolling live bait? There is also a King Mackerel forum on here, hopefully we’ll get some posts on there this summer and fall.

You can’t catch fish on a dry line

Thanks for the report “triple t” and nice fishing

Thanks yall, all fish were caught on rapalas. Shark or cuda took half of largest fish on long line before we got it to the boat. Seen huge hammerhead in same area.
