Went out around high tide slow trolling dusters around the color change. Changing the bait and got a hit on the drop back. Reeled in for 20 minutes and gaffed a nice 35 pounder.
so how far out was the color change ?? Last week it was about 4 miles…Give or take…Were you using any Haden at all. Good job. That is a nice size if youwere not to far out ?

We did nothing today weren’t able to get to far out had parents with me and the sea’s were just a little to much for them in a 18’ did get to the buoys past jstties and troll back with no results.

The color change was just past the jetties around the buoys.
You fishing the morning or afternoon bite? I went out 2 days last week in the afternoons/early evenings. First day caught the biggest spanish I have ever seen, (or possibly the smallest king, I can never remember how to tell) day 2 had someting knock the hell out of a menhaden, and then about ten seconds later one of my stretch 25s got smacked, but neither held tight.
