Stellar day at 226.
Departed Leeds Ave at 5:30am with the Motley Crew aboard the KingFish.
Found some action in and around 400ft. Put 4 gaffers and 2 slingers in the box. Lost a sail to a cutoff as he gray hounded through our spread.Stopped in 90’ over a nice live bottom and collected a few football Vermillions and a few Pinkies.
Witnessed a tuna feeding off our bow… no luck hooking up with them though.
Man that makes me hungry, gonna have to thaw out a bag
Hot colors were pink/blue, purple/black.
Temp was 77 most of the day

Great job guys looks awesome
My biggest worry is that my wife (when I’m dead) will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.
There are only two types of dolphin fish. The Mahi, and the pompano dolphinfish. That doesn’t look like a pompano dolphin

This is a good link showing the differences.

I don’t get it… It looks like a regular dolphin to me… Only smaller ![]()

dont see any gaff marks, therefore it could be classified as a slinger too.
