Rolled out at 5:30 for the SW Banks.
The ride out was decent with 3 ft rollers at 8secs.
Lines in at 7:45.
We put 5 gaffers, a 60lb Wahoo, and a slinger in the box.
We cooked through the bait with 10+ short strikes.
We had a plan to fish some live bottom but we had a missle cruiser bearing down on those numbers, so we submissed and moved on.
After playing a little war games with the Navy, we stopped at Y73 but had a tough time staying on top of it…
Ride in wasn’t too bad, just a little wet. Overall a really
Good day. The boats that made it out seemed to do ok putting fish in their boxes.
I heard a report from down south of a boat releasing three Marlin and Sail… very nice, and congrats!
