I have an Avet SXJ spooled with 20# braid. I want to troll for Spanish and King Mackerel. I like Ugly Sticks but I don’t know which would better for trolling offshore. One is the Ugly Stick CAI 1170-1MH and the other is an Ugly Stick BWC 2200 70. Is the lite to light or is the Tiger Stick overkill?

The Ugly Stick customs are very good rods for the money. Nice soft tip, 7 ft, excellent finish, Aluminum gimbal butt.
