Kingfisher on Topwater lure

I originally posted this on Beaufort/HHI page but thought you may enjoy it. Was throwing a Topwater plug at dusk in Broad creek on HHI when a kingfisher come flying in and takes off with my lure . Was able to finally land my “catch” and make a safe release.The kingfisher is one of my favorite birds , so glad he flew away unharmed .

Interesting catch. Glad to see the bird is OK.

I caught a bullfrog once on top water.
