It would be nice if the tournament committee would make all competing tournament entrants fish in South Carolina waters only unless you want someone to run a fish 240 miles from the east side of Morehead NC like last year. It kind of takes away from all anglers competing in the South Carolina fishing arena when you get a fish that comes from an area that normally has larger fish this time of year than anywhere else on the entire east coast. A Check out or boundaries, one or the other is the normal these days for most king mackerel tournaments.

I def. agree. I think limiting to S.C. waters only would be a great move! You may loose one or two entries from up north , but it may make more boats form around here fish the tournament. Just my opinion.

yes, last year only 2 boats I heard from NC… and 1 of them one it! needs to be limited to SC waters!

Tournament has been postponed due to weather/ sea conditions. Has been rescheduled for October 10-11 same location

Todd:

Good move on the weather call early. It’s tough to make, but it was the right call. Also, it gives everyone a couple week break between tournaments. The bonus is the kingfishing will be on fire in early October. Non stop action, the way it should be.

We don’t need one way runs from Frying Pan Shoal (NC) or Gray’s Reef (GA).
