I am waiting to ditch the freshwater stripers as soon as ya’ll tell me the kings are coming in close.
Put a 32lber striper in the boat and headed to taxidermist this week so I have my striper fix for the year. Now I am ready for the saltwater.
Just let me know when you boys start catching them in close

Thanks, yes it was caught in Hartwell.
Not too computer savy but I do have a cell phone pic but really can not tell how long/big it was.
I have some pics on wifes camera and I will try and get someone to post that this weekend.

Were you able to get the picture? I’m guessing you already know about photobucket for posting. If not, just let me know.
I’m located in Columbia and fish Lake Murray where the fish average about 18,… inches that is! Someday I’ll get to Hartwell and Russell.
I too am looking forward to some King fishing.

i talked to some fellows at the landing saturday that said they lost one on the motors around 40lbs in 110’ of water
Sweet! 110 ft is very doable.
