</font id=“Times New Roman”></font id=“size6”></font id=“black”>Took my son and his friend out and found some kings fishing out at the Needle. Trolled skirted ballyhoo with blue/white being the hot color. We were also pulling a cedar plug along and only had one hit on that, but when the plug was not in the water no fish. We put the plug back in the water and BANG, fish on! We had a blast the fishing was non stop most of the morning, had a few treble hooks break or bend straight.
Where exactly is the needle? What inlet run out of?
Red X Anglers, If you dont know about us ask.
Out past the Betsy Ross and the inlet could be Port Royal.

WHat size kings were you catching if you dont mind me asking. Curious to see if the smokers have started to scatter yet from the beaches due to lack of rain earlier in season
Right on, I found it on the map/GPS right after I asked this. Mabe I should have just looked before asking.

Both were just over 16 lbs. not quite enough to write home about, but my son and his friend had a blast listening to the reels scream! We did have two fish unbotton, one of them straightened out my eagle claw treble and the other just broke the hook! Not much bird action we found the flying fish and dropped lines and just started trolling.

We went out of Fripp Inlet, I don’t like the 13 mile run down the river just to get to the ocean. Fripp is not dredged so be careful at low tide.
