Any word on the general areas (depth,north,south) where kings have been caught in the last couple of weeks would be appreciated.

Caught 2 while bottom fishing last Friday on flat lines. One at the break, and a smaller one in 110’. The one at the break was pretty nice. 25 pounds probably.
Must be a big king tournament tomorrow.

Are there ever any kings caught inside the harbor?
There are kings, some big ones too (30-40+), caught inside the inlet where I am from in NC. Just wondering if the same happens here.

A 40+ pounder was caught in the turning basin in Beaufort inlet, NC. Won the AB king tourney a few years back. I guarantee you there are some big ones cruising around the jetties.

Not in the tourney, but we trolled the Edisto banks this past weekend and there were Kings all over the place kept about a 40 plus pounder and had one wreck our entire spread that came out of the water twice I would estimate at 55…I’m sure I just helped Surfer win the tourney!
Many are caught right outside the jetties and off the beaches
