Kite lost

About a year ago, my wife had to cut away from her kite-boarding kite to keep from getting dragged to her death. I posted a notice of the loss on here and within a week, the kite was found on Morris Island and returned to her in very good shape. Hooray for Charlestonfishing.com!

Yesterday one of her kiting buddies had a kite wrapped in its carry bag get washed off the beach at Sullivans Island by the rising tide. If anyone finds a Liquid Force Solo kite floating around the Jetties or washed up somewhere, the owner would be really happy to get it back.

A PM to me will get it back to the owner. Thanks in advance.

Kite found and returned to owner.

That’s cool :sunglasses:

In Belize a couple of years ago I watched a man kite sailing. He got launched a few hundred feet up and a few hundred feet inshore, and plastered himself 6 stories up on a beach front condo. Dead.

Decided I didn’t want to kite surf after that!

Holy cow! I thought that looked so cool and wanted to try it. I’ll have to rethink it.

Larry, I saw a video of that mess, can’t beleve he didn’t let go sooner.
