I just read every single post since 2005 regarding this…Will be staying with the Parents over the week of Thanksgiving out there…I see some pond names / street names…but how accessibly are some of these…Not familiar with the area AT ALL…will probably be the opposite of Awendaw…

Also are there any docks / piers that are public to people staying out on the island…

PM me if you don’t mind as I’m sure they are sacred to the Yankee invaders…

When/if you find them, look out for gators - small kids/pets/your leg might look tasty to a pond gator.

Bass and Ibis both have docks past 2nd gate. Look for moving water fresh crab for huge reds and black drum, works better after dark. Pinfish can get bad, look for moving water.

I will be there as well and will likely have a spot for one Saturday or Sunday depending on when tides are good. Shoot me a pm closer to the time.
