Suggestions for an initial order of jigs to be prepared for some bottom fishing 80-200’? Sizes, models and colors appreciated.
I just ordered a set of 5 from Striker Tackle. You can’t beat teh price and i was very please with the quality. I havent fished them yet but they got very good reviews on the hull truth. http://strikertackle.com/200-gram-vertical-jigs-set-of-5/

All depends on species targeting. Slow/long fall style jigs work well in charleston on snapper/grouper/porgy
I like 250g butterfly and squid style for grouper ( pink, yellow, mackeral), and long narrow fast fall jigs for blackfin

the last squid style I used had a Kebda 83lbs dolphin break both assist hooks off, one right after the other…2 seconds of joy followed by 2 seconds of pain followed by 2 more seconds of joy then 2 more seconds of pain…emotional roller coaster for sure…true story, minus the Kebda…

it was far more than 2 sec. A few more hooks on that jig and I’m certain you would have boated the beast!
