Is there anyone between here and Florida that can service or rebuild a Kohler gas generator? The generator is out of the boat and can drop off. Thanks.

no, most of the Kohler generators are throw away, they usually aren’t worth the cost of rebuilding. Don’t know who the dealer is around here any more, the dealer ship has been passed around like a bad case of the clap. Do yourself a favor and replace it with a Westerbeke, it won’t be chaep, but you’ll at least have something worth fixing if it breaks

btw, Kohler Generators rust too fast to make a decent anchor. Now that I’m thru with my rant, check with Marine Propulsion in Wadlamaw. They used to be the Kohler dealer.
