Not much to report but reports of bad fishing are just as helpful as the good ones. Took a 140 degree heading and dropped lines at the ledge in 71-72 degree water. Not much going on there besides reef donkeys and little tunnys.
Headed out deeper looking for a small temp break I saw the night before (74 to 76) but never found it. Caught a large shark in 600 ft on the planer rod and three dolphin in 400-600 feet. We fished the SCSSA but couldn’t find a money fish.
Had a couple good sized dolphin spit the hook after a short fight. Also had a bite off on the cedar plug. Heard some billfish being caught down south on the radio, including a couple of blues.
Ready to get back out again.
