La. Bull Reds

Got out of town for some Cajun Bull Redfish action at an outdoors event. Excellent experience, because for once, I was not in my boat and someone else was doing the captain work. Great adventure and learning new areas that I have not fished down that way in the past. Using some new equipment as well. The 4horsemen popping corks were the ticket on the water that day. A very distinct clacking meets thud type sound. 3 foot fluoro leader with Zman paddle tail on a trout eye jig head. Fishing 10-14 foot of water at the pass, these fish were coming up from the bottom or suspended to whack our baits. Landed over 50 of these bad boys between us. Crazy awesome day. As a bonus, we got into some nice blackfin on spinning gear the next day offshore! Can’t wait to get back down there as always!

Wow!

Looks like an awesome day.

It was!

Very cool! Awesome BFT!
