Me and the ole lady will be coming down on Labor Day Weekend to do some hella fishing. We plan on hitting the jettys one day for any and everything that’s ready to hit the hook then another day hit my favorite sheephead spot and hopefully find some more and last of the 3 days go try for some redfish and flounder, two fish i never been successful at. I hope my luck is going to be good with the flounder and redfish because i habe nooooo luck or knowledge to fish for them. I also plan on showing my ole lady where we will be shrimping at when the season come in. I have to get her trained up on casting and driving boat without throwing me out of it. So hopefully the weather play right and we get some good videos for you guys. Also will be doing some night fishing and flounder gigging.
Bring some crabbing gear because they are running good and everything is biting at the jetties.

Thanks for the info. I been wanting to get down and get out to the jetties. Haven’t fished them in a long time. Yeah my last trips down a few months ago i had no good luck with the bluecrabs. Hope i can get on them now.
Take a cast net to the jetties with you. If you run across a school of menhaden, catch some with the cast net and follow the school. Keep casting live menhaden into the school. I recommend using a popper with a foot of leader. Red fish will tear it up.
