Trolled a couple of times over the last week and a half and marked tons of fish, but only picked up a few each time. Gonna give some live bait a try this time for a few hours on Monday morning.
Anyone else heading out in the morning?
Anyone tried to jig up any bait at the towers recently?
Pretty much the same story as last weekend-- another nice limit drifting the deep river channel out from Hollywood. See last weekends report below. The difference is I caught my 3 nicest fish jigging heavy metal today. Thanks Crabjack for getting me back to doing that:sunglasses:

You’re welcome Fogman. Any luck finding those spoons I showed you?
I went out with coolbreeze on Friday. We caught about 15 bream before we started striper fishing. We caught 6 with 3 over 21. I caught 5 and three were on bream, two biggest came on bream. The herring were very healthy in the tank, but died on the hook pretty fast. I think thats what made the bream effective, they stayed alive much better on the hook. around a hump half way between spence and the dam, fish were around it from 60 to 90 feet. Pulled a lot of small bait to the light with some bigger ones right under them.
I always have some big Hopkins spoons with me, but usually don’t use them much until later in the season…sounds like I may have to make an exception tomorrow
Crabjack, I had to order them from Cabelas. Sportsman’s Warehouse didn’t have any in the 3 ounce size. Marshman, what we’re referring to is the Luhr-Jensen Crippled Herring. There’s a pic in one of Crabjack’s recent posts on the MSC message board.
