MSC Ladies Make the Best of Poor Lake Conditions.
Midlands Striper Club held its annual Ladies Tournament on Lake Murray out of Billy Dreher Island, SC on September 17, 2016. 21 ladies participated in the Ladies Tournament. A total of 24 striped bass were brought to the scales weighing a total of 140.25 pounds with a 5.84 pound average. 11 ladies were able to bring a full two fish creel to the scales.
Despite the recent fish kill on Lake Murray and full moon feeding conditions, the Ladies did well and managed to bring some good fish to the scales.
Finishing in first place with a total weight of 17.81 pounds was Jennifer Lindler from Team Hardcore from West Columbia, SC.
Jennifer also won Big Fish with a 11.12-pound Striper.
Finishing in second place with a total weight of 16.69 pounds was Liz Sineath from Team Stone Age from Lexington, SC.
Finishing in third place with a total weight of 15.22 pounds was Katie Browning from Team Hard of Herring from Chapin, SC.
Holy Smokes BBQ did an awesome job as they always do and it was a great time to get together and enjoy the fellowship.
