MSC Lady’s Tournament

Midlands Striper Club held its annual Lady's tournament on September 15th. MSC had 26 lady anglers fishing  the event. It was a Beautiful day on the lake for fishing and a hard day fishing on the lake.
 Congratulations to first place finisher in the lady's tournament Laura Hamilton with her 2 fish creel of 10lbs 12 oz!  Laura Hamilton also was awarded the big fish trophy for the events largest Striped Bass at 7 lb 4 oz.  Second place went to Kelsey Barnes with her 2 fish creel of 10 lbs 4 oz.  Finishing third was Kelly Douglas with her 2 fish creel of 10 lbs 4 oz.

Congrats to Laura for the win and big fish though I’m not sure from the write-up if her last name is Douglas or Hamilton. I know we got some pictures so I hope we can get them posted to the website soon…We had a great crowd at the weigh-in. Everybody must love Elyse Brensinger’s Spaghetti. I thought it was a great idea for the menu and I enjoyed it very much…even though Kelsey took my garlic bread…

I’ve spent about 85% of my life’s wages on fishing, the rest I just wasted…

Every one of us who have been tournament directors have had small descrepancies in the reports. It is just the way it goes with gathering information while doing a weigh in and sometimes from multiple people. Having been a tourmament director I certainly appreciate the job each and every one of the current and past have donweandare currently doing. That said it never felt good to see any descrepancies in my report pointed out in print. Maybe a Private Message would be better for any issues anyone has with the posted results.
