I am wanting to take a kid from church bass fishing Saturday on Murray and was curious if any of yall have seen the upper lake to see if it is very muddy. Posted this in here just because I figured it would get more replys than the regular freshwater forum.

It was relatively clear a few miles above the 391 bridge on this past Saturday. A partner and I fished up that way.
Only had 5 keepers. The winning and 2nd place teams both fished below Billy Dreher in the very clear water. There is some schooling activity, both stripers and largemouth. Bass hit C-rigs, Texas rigs, jigs and topwater. Some deep and some shallow, no consistent pattern.
Thanks! I fished Saturday 2 weeks ago for a couple hours between spinners and the little Saluda and caught a couple around docks early but that was about it.
