Went up to lake hickory last week to see what it’s about. Narrow and shallow is what I found. Crappie fishing was good and we’re getting most of the attention. Striper fishing, two down, two planers and two freelines we managed a couple once the water started getting release into the lake from Rhodiss. Not all that impressed with the lake but a good time with my dad and son.
Going to try Rhodiss next week.

The boat is awesome and the Jedi mind trick is still going strong. She still hasn’t noticed. Been home in the driveway for days, she’s seen it dozens of times and hasn’t noticed. A neighbor’s wife asked her, “when ya’ll get a new boat?” Wife answers, “we didn’t get a new boat.” She better not beech when I don’t notice her haircut anymore.
