Hey areeldrag, what do you think about a 22ft deep v on the lake? I have read about Lake Jocassee awhile ago but couldnt find any info on trailering boats up there…
You should be fine. The trailer/boat parking lots are laid out well, ans fairly spacious. Welcome Aboard!!

Does the dog get carried around in a papoose?
If you have time, the Walhalla fish hatchery isn’t too far from you. It is amazing to see those trout from fry size all the way up to 10lbs.
22ft V will be fine, landing is large enough but it gets real crowded on weekends & they will turn you around once parking lot is full.
Roads are fine but would suggest to stay off of I85, they are doing construction all up & down it, I blew out a trailer tire on the way up.
Be careful if you pull up to any sandbars, there are large rocks. Water is clear so you should be able to spot them.
