Well, Long Enuff and I decided that we would give the striper another try last night. We made a pass past the dam and down the dike toward Atkins with nothing. We turned around and started back when we hooked and landed a decent 30" striper. That was it, but it’s a start! It was blowing and rough as a cob out there. We trolled around a little longer before calling it a night. We did mark more fish than in the previous trips so far this season.

that is one fine looking fish. do not remember when one that size was posted coming out of lake murray. i need to go more and maybe i will get lucky (because i am not that good) and catch a nice one like that.

It’s still early. The bait hasn’t even moved in around the dam area yet. I wish we would have had 5 more to go with it.
