Lake Moultrie 11-15............

I trolled around solo last night under a beautiful clear sky and had a lot of action. I only brought 2 fat keepers home though (28" + 29 1/2"), but I caught a bunch of fish and lost a few also. All the hits came on my shallowest running lures, mainly the red/white MirrOlures. This season has been so different than the last few, IMHO. Usually, the rougher, the better. Not so much so far this season. I have had good and bad nights with it rough this season, but it seems that I have done better, on average, on calmer nights this year. Well, I guess it has been almost 50/50. Who knows?!? They show up and bite when they are good and ready…:wink:

sounds like the regulations are making a big difference already. I think the big fish were getting slaughtered up here in the rivers. Kind of easy pickins when they are all up in the Saluda. I am looking forward to next spring on the river

Yep, the next few years should be pretty good…:stuck_out_tongue::slightly_smiling_face:

lynnmcd: do you just not like to hang around the house or is she just so mean that you have to go fishing almost every freaking night. it makes some of us jealous up here on the murray. i can usually go whenever i want but you must either live on the lake or very close. i guess what i am saying is ■■■■! I’M ENVIOUS! who knows. maybe me and the steelytom boy can take my seapro down there one night and meet up and you can show us how to do it.

COOL, y’all come on down anytime. I can show y’all what it is that I do, but that may differ from the right way…
As long as I get lucky here and there, I’m happy! :slightly_smiling_face:
