I trolled around a little last night and only caught one short while trolling. I decided to try the jigs out again. That started off slow. After missing a couple bumps I told myself that it was time to go. I threw again and caught a short. They turned on for a few minutes and I ended up catching 7 or 8 shorts and lost a couple also. It stopped pouring for a bit, so I decided to hit the road. I really didn’t mark a lot of fish, but bait was pretty much everywhere…

Thanks! I try to post my results, good or bad. I have had some people voice their opinion that I shouldn’t post like I do, but, I am surely no where near “pro” status. And, it surely is not top secret to fish around the dam and out in and around the channel. Plus, any monkey can drag lures and catch fish. I enjoy seeing other boats out there having some success and a bunch of fun. I have been blessed to be in a position where I can fish as often as I do. If I go enough, I am bound to have a good night every now and then.
Maybe I can get out there also one night next week. I wanted to go tonight, but I kind of like this golden band on my finger! If it wasn’t for my hard working wife, I would not have the opportunity to fish near as much!!
