I trolled around a little while last night with ok results. Ended up catching 2 keepers, a bunch of shorts, and 1 seagull (no hook, just line wrapped around the wing, was released ). I was wanting to get my limit, but I got aggravated and left before I could accomplish that. I had to keep clearing lines of debris non stop. I couldn’t see anything floating on the surface, but if I left lines out for 2 minutes or less, I would have 2lbs. of grass clumped up all over my lures. My transom was filled with debris in no time. I had to work my butt off to catch the fish that I did, plus it was choppy.
There are plenty of decent shorts out there, so, the next few years should be awesome!

Whatever you feel like. Just remember fishing is guaranteed, catching, not so much…[:0]

Good deal. I thought about going tonight, but I’m not sure if I will make it or not. I gotta keep Momma happy…
