I trolled for a while with no action. I switched to casting the bucktails and caught a few shorts pretty quick. Then it got nasty on the water and the bite stopped. I tried a little while longer before leaving.

what u trolling? i pulled deep diving rebels year round when i lived in moncks corner. had best luck in cold weather with a chrome black back unjointed . if you also pull a gold with black back it will catch big cats all day.
have you tried a multi bucktail rig trolling?
