Another slow, calm night at first. We ended up with two striper and two cats. The biggest striper was another pig around 34". We fished with 8 lines out most of the night including a down rigger which we caught the smaller keeper on. The fish are still marking shallow. We only had the down rigger down around 10’ with a lipless lure. Using the DR helped us keep lines apart and I wanted to play with it anyway. The wind and rain started pounding us. It felt like we were being shot with BBs. That was alright, but the lightning was getting close and the fish were not cooperating, so we called it. I can’t wait for the cold, miserable nights!
