Lake Moultrie Last night

Saltwater Striper Fishing

Started trolling right after dark. After 40 minutes I caught my first striper which was around 28 1/2". I caught another around 22" right before going to pick a buddy up from the landing. We trolled a little more with no luck so we started live bait fishing. Pretty much non stop action until they stopped pulling water. We ended up with nine keepers and threw back I think 7 or 8 short ones (all were hooked in the lip and swam off great). We also lost some nice fish that were pulling hard, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. We had two over 28", one 22" and the rest averaged 24" to 25". All in all it was a great outing :smiley:. It was nice since I haven’t been striper fishing in a while :frowning_face::wink:.

you seem to get lucky more often than me and phishinfan. Murray has not been treating us too good.
